Moments of levity are not always easy to find. We all get to draggin' our feet. We all get stuck in traffic and start cursing those pricks who decided that it was a good idea to do roadworks at 8am on a Monday. We all rage against the hipster who takes his vintage typewriter to the local cafe. We all spill our cawfee, hate parking cops, and hate the manipulative layout of IKEA. Hence it's sometimes hard to see where the moments of levity are going to come from.
That's where Sam Cooke comes in. I was having one of those bottomless type days until I put this record on for review. And I guarantee that the next time you feel that weight on your shoulders, if you put this song on you'll suddenly see the light.
