Barry McGuire records "Eve of Destruction"

July 15th, 1965 - American singer-songwriter Barry McGuire recorded "Eve Of Destruction" in one take. The song was written by nineteen year old P.F Sloan and had originally been presented to The Byrds, who rejected it. "Eve Of Destruction" became the title track of Barry McGuire's upcoming debut album.
