Cher releases debut solo album

October 16th, 1965 - American singer Cher released her debut solo album All I Really Want To Do on the Imperial record label. Produced by Sonny Bono, the album took it's title from Bob Dylan's 1964 track "All I Really Want To Do." Along with the title track, the album included two other Dylan covers, "Blowin' In The Wind" and "Don't Think Twice It's Alright."

The album was released only two months after the duo Sonny & Cher released their single "I Got You Babe" and debut album Look At Us. Read a review of the pair's debut album here.
