Leonard Cohen, Lightnin' Hopkins & Joni Mitchell performing at the Mariposa Festival this weekend

TORONTO - The 7th annual Mariposa Folk Festival will be held this weekend at Innis Lake, north of Toronto, Canada.

Drawing 8,500 spectators last year, this year's Mariposa Festival will feature performances by Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Lightnin' Hopkins, Rev. Gary Davis, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Tom Rush, the Staple Singers, Bonnie Dobson, the Buddy Guy Blues Band, Ritchie Havens, Louis Killen, the Lily Brothers and Tex Logan.

On Sunday 13th, Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell will be co-hosting a Songwriters Workshop at the event.

Both Cohen and Mitchell are reportedly working on their own debut albums, expected to be out later in the year.
