Nina Simone releases new album "To Love Somebody": Listen

Her new album features covers of Bob Dylan, The Bee Gees and Leonard Cohen

August 26th, 1969: Thirty-six-year-old singer-songwriter Nina Simone has released her latest album, To Love Somebody.

Simone recorded three Bob Dylan tracks for the album, "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues," "I Shall Be Released" and "The Times They Are A-Changin'."

The album features an alternate version of The Beatles' 1968 release "Revolution." While there are apparent similarities between Simone's recording and The Beatles' original, nearly all of the lyrics are different and it offers a response of sorts.
