Second album from Leonard Cohen out now: Listen

April 7, 1969 - Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen has released his second album, Songs From A Room, via Columbia Records.

35 year-old Cohen began recording Songs From A Room in Hollywood early last year with David Crosby (former Byrds singer/guitarist) as producer. The sessions didn't work out so Bob Johnson was brought on as producer and recording took place in Nashville.

The release of Songs From A Room coincides with Bob Dylan's Nashville Skyline also produced by Bob Johnson and recorded at Columbia Studio A in Nashville.
