The Animals cover "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" for their new single

In February 1965 English blues/rock group, The Animals, released their single "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood". The song was originally written for Nina Simone, who released it on her album, Broadway-Blues-Ballads in November 1964.

The Animals later included "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" in September 1965 on the US release of their album, Animals Tracks.
