The Beach Boys release another Greatest Hits album

The Beach Boys released another greatest hits album today, The Best of The Beach Boys Vol 2. Brian Wilson had been in the studio working on Smile, the album which was to be The Beach Boys follow up to Pet Sounds, when he recently announced he was abandoning the project altogether. Capitol Records seem to have rushed out the greatest hits record since Wilson's unexpected announcement.
