The Doors make recording debut in Los Angeles

September 2nd, 1965 - American rock band The Doors made their recording debut at World Pacific Studios, Los Angeles. The session took place over three hours and produced six demo recordings, all written by twenty-one-year-old Jim Morrison.

Listen below to the fourth track recorded during the session, "Moonlight Drive", which would later be released on The Doors second album, Strange Days.
