April 16, 1969: Last month British band Led Zeppelin performed a track off their new self titled album for an upcoming documentary, Supershow directed by John Crome. Filming for the documentary took place over two days on March 25th/26th in an abandoned linoleum factory. Among others Buddy Guy, Stephen Stills and Eric Clapton also performed. Apparently Jimi Hendrix was also supposed to attend but missed his flight in from NYC.
Watch Led Zeppelin perform "Dazed and Confused", written by Jake Holmes for his 1967 album "The Above Ground Sound" of Jake Holmes below.
