Watch Neil Young perform "Down By The River" with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young last weekend

"Down By The River" appeared on Neil Young's solo album, released earlier this year

Neil Young recently joined the already established band Crosby, Stills & Nash. Now known as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the band played for only the second time together at Woodstock in August. Neil Young doesn't appear in the footage of the band at Woodstock, however, because he refused to allow the cameras to film him. Fortunately, this past weekend, he allowed his performance at The Big Sur Folk Festival to be recorded.

CSNY performed "Down By The River," a song from Neil Young's second solo album, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, which was released earlier this year.

Watch the performance below.

Word is that the new-look lineup including Young has started working on a follow-up album to Crosby, Stills & Nash. The album is slated for release early next year.
