April 28th, 1967 - The Doors released the second single from their self-titled debut album. The track "Light My Fire" was released as a follow up to "Break On Through (To the Other Side)" with "The Crystal Ship" on the B-Side.

For its release to radio, "Light My Fire" was reduced from over seven minutes on the album version to just under three minutes.
